About Us
We’re Baba Bread, a home-based French artisanal bakery in Salisbury, happy to be serving the Piedmont Fresh community!

And when we say “French”, we mean it. Bruno, our baker was born in Metz, France. After an international career in luxury fashion across Paris, London, and New York, he finally decided to leave it all behind with his wife Allison, a writer and North Carolina native, and bring delicious, wholesome bread to the region.

Our products are made using organic flour from Lindley Mills in Graham, NC and sourdough starter we were gifted by award-winning baker Lillian Bonnefoi in Antibes, France, a charming town on the French Riviera.

Time, to us, is the ultimate luxury. Following the French artisanal tradition, we put in the time it takes to bring high-quality breads to life. For our sourdough breads, this means 3 full days.

With care and excellence in every gesture, every Baba bread is an ode to life lived at a slower, healthier, more deliberate pace.
