About Us
Muddy Creek Lavender is a small, family-owned lavender farm located in Randolph County, North Carolina. It is owned by Jeff & Ginger Frembling and their son. After retiring from the military, we purchased our little farm and settled down. After considering many options of what we could do with our farmland, we decided to grow lavender. Lavender is a versatile plant that can be used for so many things. After years of researching, Muddy Creek Lavender Farm was established in 2020 when we planted our first acre of lavender.
To date, we grow 11 varieties of lavender that we use to create our small-batch, handmade products. Many of our English varieties are used for culinary products. Our Intermedia varieties are used primary to make essential oil, bath and body products, and our lavender crafts. We also take cuttings of our field plants to propagate new plants that we share with our customers.
Our mission is to provide quality, handmade lavender products that our customers love and to educate them on how to grow and appreciate this wonderful and useful plant.

Practices
Our lavender is naturally grown. We do not use any pesticides or fertilizers on our plants. We harvest our lavender stems by hand using a sickle and immediately bind them into bunches and hang them to dry. After drying, we can use our harvest lavender year round to make our products.
