This loaf is baked in the Tartine style, with a darker, caramelized crust that helps keep the bread inside softer for much longer than a lighter, softer crust. It also contains a small amount of whole wheat to add a heartier tooth to the bread.
Our sourdough is 100% naturally leavened, with no added yeast. The 2-day process creates a noticeable, pleasant sourdough flavor and crumb. Sourdough is generally easier to digest and is often tolerated well by people with digestion issues. Please check with your nutritionist for details.
